Letter for President

July 9, 2018

PRESIDENT RODRIGO DUTERTE
Malacanang Palace Compound
J.P. Laurel Street, San Miguel
Manila
Philippines

July 9, 2018

Dear Mr. President:
My Name is Rhon Joshua Cuenta. A junior student at Ilocos Sur National High School and i want to share to you my thoughts about Anti-Drug Campaign known as " Oplan Tokhang ". Your campaign has vowed every drug dealer and user in the country, and subsequently eradicate the use of illegal drugs within the Philippines and brash approach towards that you garnered heavy support within the Philippines, to win a landslide majority which makes your proposed policies much easier to roll out. For me Oplan Tokhang helps eradicate those people using and selling drugs, it scares the people who are using and selling drugs.

As a student I agree the campaign to eradicate the user of illegal drugs because people who are dependent of using and selling illegal drugs makes their life miserable.

Many who have experienced the "Oplan Tokhang" first-hand have agreed that rehabilitation, welfare and income-generation programs remain the only feasible solution to eradicate drug use in the Philippines. The government can promote economic equity with these programs by alleviating Filipinos from extreme poverty. The poor would be able to afford food instead of relying on drugs for mental and physical sustenance, driving drug prices down. this would then prompt drug suppliers to stop their drug-related activities due to diminishing revenue, an outcome far more desirable for the government and people of the Philippines.

Sincerely,

Rhon Joshua Cuenta

Independence Achievement

In June 12, 1898 is the year were the Filipino's been freed from the colonized power of the Japanese and Spaniards that invaded the one of the spice island called the Philippines. The one who help the Filipinos is the American tribe that teach us on how to rule our society that will served as a shield to protect us whenever their are people who will harm our country. We celebrate the Philippine Independence on June 12, and also called "Araw ng Kasarinlan" or "Araw ng Kalayaan". Independence Day is the time when our country gains political freedom from out side control. one of the reason why Philippines was invade, its because of rich in agriculture. The first invader was the Spaniards who cruelly ruled our country and the Filipinos  become slaves to serve the Spaniards so that they will not be killed. Second is the Americans who help us to get out of the hand of the Spaniards who cruelly ruled and Americans left Philippines but they will come back to see us or to protect us. third is the Japanese, who ruled our country and Filipinos become slaves again.
Independence Day is the day that we Filipinos become free on July 12,1898 and United States of America had surrendered the archipelago  on July 4, 1946. Filipinos celebrate this to respect our heroes who help us to be free by the hand of cruel rulers. During this day, that the  entire country remember the courage, struggles and sacrifices of our noble ancestors. This is the day that we know how brave the Filipinos are. And the Americans teach how they will form a community which leads them power to be strong. In this year 2018, we created rules that need to be follow but some of us the harmful things and this things are being use to the people who had no ideas what's going on and what's going out.
